South Pacific Cirlce – (SEA-TPE-MNL)

This trip was initially a trip to Sumba & West Papua, Indonesia with my friend from Jakarta. However, due to unfortunate change of events, the Indonesian portion was canceled. So instead of losing this great flight I decided to jump on a bucket list trip. SEA-TPE-MNL-SYD-NAN-APW-PPG-HNL-SEA.

The focus on this was to visit and spend time in Pago Pago, American Samoa. But to this point I had not completed much research. It was just an American territory that interested me and I wanted to visit. To say I visited there. I had the SEA-TPE-MNL legs booked and immediately booked the PPG-HNL-SEA legs. This is when I started doing research on routing from MNL-PPG without going through HNL. This became very challenging and honestly a game. I realized i could stop in Fiji, and Samoa while making my way to American Samoa. So I booked some time in each country. New countries to check off my list.

I began, booking the flights spending more time in American Samoa and less time in Fiji and Samoa. After, researching each country I decided I would spend equal time between all of the three. But flights became the game. I quickly realized that this was going to be a long trip.

This was simply a positioning trip. I had the great opportunity to fly on StarLux.
