Luggage anyone?

I’ve been thinking about luggage for awhile now.  My most recent trips i have pretty much used my carry on from Swiss Gear.  I also  had a Backpack.  I have used a Swiss Gear carry on that had a Lap Top pocket.  I obviously bought this back in the day (about 5 years ago or so).  I very quickly did not like it for a couple reasons;

1. It was a pain carrying your lap top around in your suit case especially when you were REQUIRED to check your bag due to whatever reason on certain flights.  This left my lap top vulnerable.  Also to add I soon grew out of a lap top and moved to an iPad  which made the bag useless.

2. The pocket it self used so much space in the carryon that it took away so much space.

So I went on a quest to look for new luggage.  I really wanted Tumi luggage.  Tumi is known for it’s durability, along with its design.  It’s well warranted also.  However I had difficulty spending so much money just for luggage.  After looking at all of the luggage and asking many friends, I decided to take the Costco approach.  You can return to Costco no questions asked anything (except for electronics).  So it’s a win win.  So went out and splurged and bought the following.

I wanted matching luggage of decent quality.  I have had Samsonite before and it’s been satisfactory.  I also wanted spinner wheels.  And for some reason I like black!

So we’ll see how the luggage works on my up coming trip to Dubai and Puerto Rico!  so i’ll keep you informed.
