World Trip #2 Abu Dhabi 

Day 1: First full day in Abu Dhabi.  

 

I woke up expecting to see paradise.  I woke up looking at this… Clouds.  Grey.  Overcast.  Gloomish.

  
  
  
  

 

 

But soon after breakfast the Sun finally came out and it looked like this.  Oh and by the way, this is the view from our Villa…

 

 

  
  
  

 

Well that was pretty much our day.  Slept on the Deck, on the beach, in our dinner, and then moved back to the deck.   Oh then woke up at midnight to go to dinner at…. TGI Fridays.  Yeah.  Woot.  What a vacation!

Second day in Abu Dhabi.

 

Morning view just doesn’t motivate me to do anything!

 

just st needed to screenshot my maps to prove I’m in UAE.   Just realized we are so close to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan! Yikes

Pool! No I did not swim

Attempted. But I’m a cheapskate to pay my paycheck to enter this stupid place.

 

We we then went to the sand dunes for a little adventure.  These photos do not do the hour long ride justice. We were a caravan of 8 Land Cruisers. We had to stop because the SUV in front of us had a “misshap”. I.e. Puke issue.

We we watched the ….. We tried to watch the show noi have to be honest.  WE DID NOT WATCH THE SHOW!

  

 

Then we we went back  and slept.
DAY 3 Abu Dhabi to Dubai.

At this point we headed to Dubai for shopping, dinner and stuff I guess. Oh and to catch our flight to Koh Samui.
So we are doing about 75 down the freeway. This was taken after he backed off 20 feet. They RIDE your ASS here!

Seven lanes of traffic.  And it rains in Dubai.

And home sweet home for three hours. The lounge is the WHOLE third floor. Everything in the lounge is free!  Including dinner.

Chad we said FIRST class, FIRST CLASS!  NOT the Suburbs (BUSINESS CLASS).
