World Trip #2 – Gold Coast

This blog will be backwards with the most recent on top and the oldest on the bottom. Sorry. Just easier. I’ll probably do that from now on.

Day three;

Again, i’m going backwards.  Sorry you’ll just have to deal.

Once in the lounge, we were offered Chicken pies if you can cite all of the reindeer.  I got like 4 right and then received my pie for “a strong attempt.”  It was amazingly good!

Ok end of this stop pretty much….. I won’t tell you the airline nor the airport where this happened but I’m sure you can guess.

Due to status we were able to get our “over sized luggage” checked in without an additional cost.  Technically I was the only one with status and should have applied only to me… however the the agent let us go with too much weight.

Then we went to the lounge.  Technically I could only allow one guest with me and there was three of us.  So I practiced my sweet talking skills.  I walked up to the check in desk and said “Good morning… evening.. I don’t even know what time it is… ”  they made a funny remark about it being evening.  Then I said “This is where I try out my sweet talking skills because…”  The head lounge agent said “Say no more.  Your going to ask if you can get one additional guest in with you.”  Shockingly I said “well yes that was my plan.  We are doing a round the world….” She interrupted and said “No, No No don’t tell me any more….. Sure.  I’ll let you all in.”  We thanked her continuously and walked into the lounge.

Honestly I have no clue what day it was. But I did face time with my sister and brother-in-law and nephew to watch him open presents on spare toy the night of the 23rd.  This is what face time looked like….
