An 11:55 PM Departure is not fun. The plane is full and for some odd reason I did not even get the exit row. Why? IDK. But I was in the isle.

I cannot sleep on planes. I even took a Tylenol PM for the quick 4.5 hour flight from SEA-ATL and 2 hours from ATL-JFK. I dozed off and on but I didn’t really sleep at all. Uncomfortable, excitement, too much light or noise, IDK but I could not sleep. I drank 3 glasses of water and just kind of tossed and turned as much as you could in an airplane seat. Thank God it’s only 4.5 hours.

I’m meeting a friend in SJU, Nick. He is from LA and he flew Jet Blue to JFK. Arrived in JFK about the same time I arrived in ATL. I was in ATL for an amazing 41 minutes in which I had to change Terminals and gates. I arrived at my gate just as my turn was to board.

It’s amazing how people crowd around the gate when boarding is to start. It’s the people who are last to board who tend to stand close to the door. Those of us with privileges to board first stand in the back and then must fight are way through the thick massive crowd of “think they are’s”.

It amazes me how people are so rude when boarding the plane. So many people just stand in the isle and act so stupid as if they are privileged elite carrying the largest carry on bags expecting everyone to wait as they look at the full bin’s. Do you you know you have space under your feet? So many people are dumb as they act like this is their first trip. Do you understand your holding the rest of the plane up for departure?

I didn’t even have time to pee! I arrived at Gate B17 and trekked in 15 minutes to gate C44. That was a long ass trek. Nothing exciting to express except that I sat in seat 18C. Exit row Isle and no one sat next to me. Happy me!

I was tired the entire 2 hours, but i had internet, coffee and communicated with my friend Nick who was at this time in JFK getting ready to fly out on this delayed flight. We chatted about coordination of where to meet etc. Talked about weekend plans and then all the sudden we were landing.

Our landing in JFK was 20 minutes early which will end up being helpful. We parked at Terminal 4 Gate 25. The 20 extra minutes will turn out to be good since my flight is flying out from Terminal 4 Gate 25 in 1 hour and 25 minutes, but I must go to Terminal 3 to shower. there is no Sky Lounge in Terminal 4 unless you outside of security. I am not going outside of Security. So I took the 20+ minute bus over to Terminal 3. Headed to the sky lounge and took a shower.

The shower was not exciting but it was satisfactory. Just a plain bathroom with shower toilet and sink. I was let in by an “off duty” delta employee from Orlando who was here visiting friends who worked the JFK sky lounge. Once inside it was a quick shower, and change of clothes. Then I had to ride back over to Terminal 4 for my flight. The very exact plane i flew to JFK on.

By the time I arrived at my gate 20 minutes from flight time, i was ushered to the gate agent. I asked if i got upgraded since I have been 1 out of 1 for first class ALL DAY. The agent simply said, Show your “electronic barding pass” to the boarding agent. I was confused thinking I was not upgraded. I showed her my pass and she scanned it, which prompted the computer to print out a “Seat change receipt.” I was upgraded to 2B. I was Now a happy boy.

I took my seat and waited for the plane to finish boarding. 10 open seats out of seats. I moved and had my own row. First class, plus my own row is remarkable!

I know what I want to do. I want to travel and train people! in what? I don’t know. I want to travel , everywhere. I love traveling. IDK why, but I love it. new places, new people, status, and Protocol.

I do have to say the Biscoff on Delta (the molasses / graham Cracker / Cookie thing )is amazing. I love these things.

Ok a good 4 hours and we’ve arrived in SJU. Nothing major to express, except the lunch was so amazing. Sorry I forgot to take photo’s. Blame it on the lack of sleep!

I did not forget my luggage this time! Nick met me at my gate. He only sat in the airport for 2 hours, yelling at Verizon on the phone….(yes Verizon service “data” sucks here on certain phones). Obtain our taxi. (ok the taxis have a set price plus $1.00 per bag fee) and arrived at our hotel.

We had a quick bite to eat at the bar while we used 5 of our $3.00 Mojito drink cards. Yummy. Later on we’ll make friends and obtain another 14 cards.

I took a quick nap (3 hours long) and woke up fresh and renewed at 9PM. I decided to take a shower, and head down to the casino and turn my $20.00 into…. Zero.

So to celebrate my talent in investment, we took our 14 drink coupons to the bar and started to put them to good use…. then passed out in our room around 12:30….
