Another trip to Mexico City! Why? Well I’m meeting up with local Latino friends and we are driving 2 hours north to Queretaro in the state of Queretaro.

Queretaro is to be one of the safest places to live as noted by both Standard & Poors and the newspaper Reforma.

Our adventures will wind us out into the valley to a beautiful Mexican Wineries and Cheese factories. We will be visiting the winery called Freixenet.

More on the city of Queretaro later but here is some initial information on the city.
“Both Standard & Poor’s and the newspaper Reforma have ranked Querétaro as one of the safest cities to live in with the highest quality of life in Mexico. According to the Secretaría de Desarrollo Sustenable Municipal, the city is expected to increase in size 35 percent over the next 20 to 25 years.[4] Economic growth for 2009 and 2010 is predicted to be between one and two percent due to the worldwide economic downturn.[26]”
