Friday arrival SJU

FRIDAY;
Arrived around 12:30 met one friend at my arrival gate and proceeded to the taxi stand. While discussing our taxi options I was reminded that I don’t have my checked luggage bag. Whoops, back to baggage claim I go.

It’s hot and muggy. Did I say hot? And Muggy? $21 cab ride to Old Town seemed quite quick. we met up with our third friend who was already checked into the suite. Settled in and made plans.

Out to lunch at _____, which was acceptable, and had WIFI. Note; Verizon service in SJU for the iPhone is satisfactory, however Internet is SLOW. Android …..SUCKS. Why the difference? Who knows. Again WIFI is a savior where it is available.

After lunch I took a quick nap. Much needed after being up for 48 hours with maybe a 1 hour bout of sleep..

During my nap my friends took it upon themselves to make dinner reservations for my “birthday”…….more on dinner in a bit.

We walked around and enjoyed the sites in the pitch dark. Safety was noted as there were police and security guards every where.

Dinner was quite amazing! And well worth the $300 we spent all together! We ordered family style!

I’m tired! Sleep came early
