I’ve arrived at the airport checked my bag and then zipped through security. Yes I love having status. My status made my 30 minute wait in security line an easy maybe… 4 minutes. Stripped my self naked ran through the scanner then took my time getting dressed again.
I then proceeded to the sky club at the south terminal and sat myself down at the nice comfy Tech bar. I needed a drink so off to the alcohol bar i went and made friends with the bar tender (obviously so he could milk more money from me) and ordered a drink. I don’t know the name but you can call it “Vodka, Triple Sec, orange juice, Cranberry juice, and uhm…. peach stuff”.
My view out the window is a beautiful 777 with the Emirates logo on it. Note to self; fly an Eremites trip one day… soon.

sure!
I could live here! I definitely could live here in the sky club. I met other people here too but I’m leaving that story out of this blog!
My seat 26 D wasn’t that bad. I set next to a girl that listened to head phones the whole time but was secure enough to share that she was working towards her law degree. I wasn’t at all iimpressed nor amuzed. I put my head phones on. 26 D had plenty of leg room being the exit row. my one duty was to assistn in an emergency landing. Well ok.
The flight was quite quick. a couple drinks of coffee and some words with friends made the 2 hour flight seem like 5 minutes.
I landed C7 and i fly out of C5. However I have to find he sky club somewhere around C1 which is hidden around some corners. the Sky Club is quite nice. I’ve had a few drinks to help me sleep on the next flight. Yes i’m using it for medicinal purposes!!!!!
I love hearing newbie as they walk up to the gate and ask “are they boarding yet? Do we board now?”. Clearly the door is closed and most people are sitting down. Then they look at the reader board and state “we are not flying Alaska. Where is our gate?”
I love these plug ins. All airports should have them.
11D is quite a great seat especially when the seat next to you is empty!
Gotta love the blankets for the quick 3.33 hour flight.

On over night or long flights that you get stuck in cattle car class, you must have a head pillow.

So while crossing this beautiful country, mother nature gave us a firework show.. Its called lightning. Associated with lighting is turbulence. I don’t like turbulence especially while riding in a plane that was not built in the pacific north west. Well the turbulence made my coffee and water cup dance…..erm I mean float. Thank god they were empty. This is where it happened.
