I Love Traveling

What does travel mean to you? What emotions fill you when the word travel is mentioned? Many people feel fear, anger, or go numb. Travel for many people is scary, burdensome and stressful. For me, travel is adventurous, fun, exciting and calming. I love airports, sitting on airplanes and adventuring out to the unknown!

First question today: “Why do you only fly certain airlines?”

My alliance is with Alaska Airlines! For work and most of my personal frequent travel they cater to me. They also have a great Mileage plan, and status compared to all of the other airlines that fly out of my home town. Miles for me is important. Miles = free travel and first class around the world. Status = first on the plane, choice of seats, bonus miles, and upgrades. Alaska has partnerships with other airlines that are acceptable to my liking; Delta, American Kenmore Air, KLM and British Airways to name a few. That means I can fly on those airlines and still earn miles and status miles. (More on this in another blog).

I love to travel, to be in new places, to experience new cultures and to keep moving! My drive has always been to travel. Over the past few years I have taken many trips around the world. In 2010 I took a trip to Bangkok, Hong Kong, and to Tokyo. I blogged about my travels and experiences every day. That blog is posted here; http://jetboyerik.blogspot.com/. I decided to change to wordpress from suggestions from a few people. My goal is to blog my future travels so that you may experience them as I do. Listed are a few places I have been to over the past couple years; along with a list of places I have plan’s to visit in the upcoming future;
